The Provincial Government of Bataan will harness the Public-Private Partnership scheme, through its PPP Investment Center led by Mr. Abul Khairy Alonto II, for housing developments and tokenization as they join the International Property and Investment Conference 2023 in Tokyo, Japan, last October 22-23, 2023.
Through the invitation of Property Access, now a partner of Bataan, Governor Joet Garcia presented investment opportunities to interested stakeholders, particularly in infrastructure such as commercial and public spaces, tourism developments, digitalization, healthcare, and food security facilities.
Also joining the team to entice more investors was the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan led by Chairman Pablo Gancayco, who introduced AFAB as one of the Philippines’ fastest-growing freeports.
On the second day, Property Access Executives, CEO and Founder Hiroki Kazato, Chief Partnership & Revenue Officer & Co-Founder Shiela Baylon, and Digital Co-Founder & COO Andy Roberts also allowed the Bataan delegates to meet with the Japan Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism, where they discussed how the Province can improve digitalization, tourism, and in marketing these developments. Said courtesy meeting was followed by a press conference of Bataan and Property Access with Japanese media to officially sign the Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties as they join forces in attracting potential investors for Bataan, both local and international.
