After two years, the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) spearheaded the physical celebration of the Provincial Children’s Congress anchored on the theme “Kalusugan, Kaisipan, at Kapakanan ng Bawat Bata ating Tutukan”, yesterday November 23 at The Bunker.

Children from the different daycare centers provincewide showcased their talents in copy & color contest and solo poetry performances related to the theme of the celebration.

In her simple message, PSWDO-OIC Maria Cristina Lopez, reported that to date, the province has a total of 316 daycare centers and 316 child development teachers, and underscored the vital role of daycare workers in the growth and development of children under their care.

Also present at the said celebration were Vice Governor Cris Garcia and Sangguniang Panlalawigan Board Member Iya Roque.
