The Bataan peninsula is generally peaceful and economic progress is in order. This was the overall observation of Bataan Police Director P/Col. Joel K. Tampis during last Monday’s news briefing with Bataan media practitioners after a breakfast with the police officer

Tampis said he and the local police command are happy with the infrastructure projects being implemented under the reign of Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia. “Nakakatuwa dahil patuloy ang mga magagandang proyekto ni Gov,” said Tampis.

During the brief discussion at the breakfast table, the media brought up the issue of recent accidents on the Roman Highway to which the local police and the LGUs concerned have yet to address through various fora and consultations.

Tampis was emphatic about the situation but he said some issues have yet to be tackled with LGUs concerned to address the problem.
