The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) had proudly announced that Bataan province is a top grosser among provinces in Central Luzon and Jayken Sports Bag of Dinalupihan town is top seller. Teresita Estibar Magtanong, DTI information officer, in a text message.
Eileen Ocampo, DTI Bataan director, in her accomplishment report during last week’s opening of Tourism Trade Fair at the Bataan Tourism Park, said that of the 21 trade fairs organized by DTI there was a total sale of P20.3 million; the Likha ng Central Luzon realized a total of P14.6 million. The DTI assisted 12,000 clients based on near year-end report.
A total of 9,795 applied for new or renewal of business names. A total number of 3,659 applicants for micro, small and medium enterprises were attended to by the DTI.
The agency’s loan availment to 239 business establishments amounted to P44.32 million. Awarding of P12,000 worth of livelihood kits to 70 beneficiaries had been scheduled on December 11 at the Dona Francisca Covered Court.
