Bataan kids and out-of-school youths this one’s for you. The Provincial Government of Bataan is scouting for participants in the forthcoming “Batang Pinoy Activities 2022” to be held in Vigan, Ilocos Sur this coming December.

Board Member Precious Manuel posted in her FB page recently that she met with Ms. Simeona Emata, and Jojit Padre of the Provincial Governor’s Office to discuss preparations and field participants in sports activities. She clarified though that the activities are not under the Sangguniang Kabataan umbrella. “Katuwang lang po ako,” she said.

Ms. Manuel said as per consultation with sports coordinators, it appears that many Bataan youth may excel in swimming competition. “But our coordinators may pick as participants in the “Batang Pinoy” tilt from the top players in the provincial and district sports meet,” Manuel explains.

She opined that “as much as possible tryout sessions should be held so in case appropriate funds come our way it would easy for us to prepare while there is enough time for the December event.”
