President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. led the distribution of financial assistance to fisherfolk, farmers, and families affected by El Niño on July 12, 2024, at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga.

A total of sixty (60) beneficiaries from Central Luzon received Php10,000 each in cash from the Office of the President. President Marcos also awarded Php105M cash assistance to the Provincial Governments of Bataan, Pampanga, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, and Zambales.

To further aid the beneficiaries, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Office of the House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, provided various forms of support such as cash assistance, starter toolkits, training funds, scholarship allocation certificates, and 5 kilograms of rice.The post Bataan receives Php105M assistance appeared first on 1Bataan.
