Bataan Retired Teachers and Employees Association (BARTEA) lauded Samal Mayor Alex Acuzar for his overwhelming support to retired public school teachers.

Responding to the request of BARTEA officers and with utmost respect for teachers, Mayor Alex Acuzar shouldered all the expenses that included food, table and chair rental for the association’s recently conducted monthly meeting hosted by BARTEA Samal district.

The mayor also lent them the conference hall of the new Samal town hall, which was used for the very first time.

Arlene Acuzar, the mayor’s wife and municipal councilors also donated for the raffle prizes.

Souvenir items were given to retired teachers who attended.

Officers of the 12 districts of BARTEA regularly meet to update the body of the association’s activities and programs.
