Bataan Governor Joet Garcia announced the ceremonial signing of the negotiated terms for the Gateway Project between the Provincial Government and Diamond Land Resources Inc. on Friday, September 6.

The signing, led by Diamond Land Resources Inc. President Pedro R. de Leon Jr., marks the formal agreement for a 247-hectare offshore and foreshore land reclamation project in Orion, Bataan.

The Php 17.6 billion project is expected to generate additional revenue for the province through the establishment of new businesses, industries, modern facilities, housing developments, and increased employment opportunities.

Governor Garcia emphasized the ongoing efforts to launch projects aimed at boosting the local economy and improving the quality of life for Bataan residents, aligning with the province’s goal of building stable and self-reliant communities.
