Bataan Governor Joet Garcia highlighted the province’s flagship Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives during the Makati Business Club (MBC) Government Partnership Forum held on November 15 at Hilton Manila.
Central to the presentation was The Bunker, a symbolic structure commemorating World War II heroism while serving as a hub for local and national government offices. Built at no cost to the provincial government, it exemplifies innovative PPP strategies and stands as a model for creative infrastructure development.
Governor Garcia also introduced the FAB Expansion Project, one of which is The Colonnade, alongside Bataan’s ambitious 100-Year Sustainability Plan, emphasizing long-term resilience and economic growth.
The forum further provided a platform to discuss the province’s pioneering Public-Private Partnership and Investment Center (PPPIC), designed to empower local governments by attracting private sector investments and fostering economic opportunities.
Bataan’s initiatives were presented alongside best practices shared by other notable leaders, including Baguio City Mayor Benjie Magalong, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, and Iloilo Governor Arthur Defensor Jr.
