Board Member Tony Roman said Binibining Bataan 2024 will highlight the unique beauty and intelligence of Bataenas. “Binibining Bataan will showcase the beauty of Bataenas, their ability to think on their toes, and their pride in representing the province,” he said during his welcome remarks at the recent launch and media presentation of the pageant’s candidates.

Roman said he is an advocate of women empowerment having three daughters. He advised, “Women should be both presentable and smart to be truly empowered”. Introduced in the event were the twelve stunning candidates competing for the prestigious Binibining Bataan 2024 crown. The launch took place at Plaza Antonino in Orani with Bataan 1st District Representative Geraldine Roman as the sponsor. Board Member Roman described the return (since 2018) of Binibining Bataan as “refreshing and heartwarming”.

The event was also attended by Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Congresswoman Gila Garcia, Bataan Peninsula Tourism Council Foundation Inc. Chairperson Isabel Garcia, and adviser Vicky Garcia. The coronation night is on September 28 at the Bataan People’s Center.
