In a heartfelt move to uplift young learners in Bataan, Board Member Antonino B. Roman lll recently brought new hope and resources to students at Pantalan Luma Elementary School and Pantalan Bago Elementary School.
Through collaboration with One Meralco Foundation, both schools received essential tools that will light up the path to educational success. Under Atty. Tony Roman’s program, “May Liwanag ang Buhay,” students were gifted a total of seven computers, six laptops, and over 150 school kits, helping bridge the technology gap for young minds in Pantalan Luma and Pantalan Bago. The initiative aims to ensure that these students are equipped for the digital era and ready to thrive academically.
At Pantalan Luma Elementary School, students and faculty welcomed a donation of five desktop computers, three laptops, and 100 “Balik Eskwela” kits, each filled with essential school supplies. In nearby Pantalan Bago, two desktop computers, three laptops, and 59 school kits were distributed, with students and teachers alike expressing their gratitude for the support.
BM Tony Roman’s commitment to Bataan’s educational future shone through in his words: “Ako ay kumatok at pinagbuksan.” This statement reflects his persistent efforts to open doors of opportunity for his community, ensuring a brighter and more empowered generation. Roman extended his deepest thanks to One Meralco Foundation for answering the call to spread the light of learning.
