Anchored on the theme, “Cap It All: Capturing a Community of Entrepreneurs and Innovators Towards Positive Socio-economic Impact and Sustainability,” the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) Main Campus formally opened its 2-day Research Invention and Exhibit for the year 2022 yesterday, November 23, 2022, at the Sari-Gamit Covered Court.
One of the guest speakers, Mark Anthony Colentava, Vice President for Products Talino Venture Labs, shared his experiences and struggles as a 5th year engineering student of BPSU working on their CoinSaver project until he joined Talino Venture Labs.
Then Balanga City Mayor Jose Enrique Garcia III paved the way for the creation of Balanga Makerspace, aimed at providing an open laboratory for technology enthusiasts in Bataan, of which Mr. Colentava is one of the founders.
In his short message, Board Member Jomar Gaza lauded the said event for inspiring young entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts venturing into the fields of invention and innovation since its creation in 2015. BPSU Main Campus Director Jason Anthony B. Banzon, graced the said event together with Vice President for Research, Extension and Training Services Hermogenes M. Paguia, and University President Gregorio J. Rodis.
