Church offers prayers for the coming election

The Diocese of Balanga headed by the Most Reverend Bishop Ruperto C. Santos, said that they are with the Commission on Election (COMELEC), the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Department. of Education (DepED), for a safe, peaceful, clean, honest, fair and free election.

Bishop Santos further reiterated that they offer prayers, participation for COMELEC re-orientation for electoral boards and assure them of their services and assistance through the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) this coming election.

The good Bishop likewise, encourages the people to take the election seriously and truthfully as, this is our right and sovereign duty for the future of our family, for the welfare of our country and the people regardless of color, creed and customs.

Bishop Santos expressed his gratitude to Atty. Christine Guiao- Garcia of COMELEC, P/Col Romell Velasco of PNP, Mr. Roland Fronda and the DepEd electoral board for their commitment, devotion and efficiency to their calling.

The Reverend Father also assured that they will offer prayers and Holy Masses for the safety, strength and sound health of these officials as well as the holding of a peaceful election in the province of Bataan.
