The City of Balanga bagged the “Philippines’ 2024 Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit (LGU)” award at the 50th Philippine Business Congress, held at the Marriott Hotel on October 23-24, 2024.

Said award from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), aims to recognize and encourage local government units to adopt business-friendly policies, creating a more conducive environment for business operations across municipalities and provinces.


The City of Balanga highlighted its initiatives focused on enhancing the ease of doing business, promoting digital transformation, supporting startup communities, advocating for health, strengthening education through the provision of laptops and learning hubs, implementing environmental protection programs, fostering agri-tourism projects, and constructing housing units for Balangueños in need.
