Cool Iskool Mobile Library boosts reading skills of students in Bataan

Bataan 1st District Congressman-elect Tony Roman said report from DepEd-Bataan shows Grade 3 pupils in the First District who benefitted from Cool Iskool Mobile Library project have significantly improved their reading skills based on the recent result of Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment.

Roman launched Cool Iskool Mobile Library project last year. He provided the mobile library. The mobile library visits elementary schools in the district. The project was designed to encourage reading among elementary school students. DepEd Bataan assists in the implementation of the project.

Roman, an outgoing board member, and Board Member Harold Espeleta had jointly authored an approved resolution at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan encouraging municipalities and barangays to create municipal libraries and reading centers in the province.
