There should be a data base that could be useful for students more particularly for new-graduates, and also for would-be employers. This view was aired by Rep. Jett Nisay of Pusong Pinoy partylist during a news briefing last Friday at the Balanga Plaza Hotel.
In his lengthy conversation with local media practitioners, the Congressman said “we have yet to put up à source of information about our graduates for them to know what trends are there for employment, what courses to take, and other useful information about employment, walang humahawak ng datos.” Nisay said “there are many students who are looking for jobs, para alam ng ating mga graduates kung saan sila mag-aaply.” He said this thing is only one of those tackled during the recent round table discussion with other congressmen with whom he shared many good things about Bataan and the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB).
On the issue of charter-change, the former Balanga City councilor said the House of Representatives was assured by leadership that only economic provisions shall be taken into consideration and nothing else. The Philippines appears to be six years behind compared to other countries in Southeast Asia in terms of economic progress, he said.
