DICT conducts training applicants’ orientation

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bataan, Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Bataan, and Iskolar ng Bataan conducted a Training Applicants’ Orientation lastAugust 31, 2022, at the Atrium, The Bunker.

Through its program “digitaljobsPH,” DICT provides free technical trainings for prospective online freelancers. Formerly called Rural Impact Sourcing (RIS) Program also known as “Kapag May WiFi, May Hanapbuhay,” it empowers rural residents to do online freelancing as a source of income utilizing their own Internet platforms (RIS Hubs). Present in the said event were Vice Governor Ma. Cristina Garcia and DICT Region 3 Regional Director Engr. Reynaldo T. Sy.
