The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Bataan and Public Employment Service Office (PESO) conducted the Government Internship Program (GIP) Orientation among the 64 beneficiaries yesterday, September 1, 2022, at Atrium, The Bunker.

The aforementioned event was led by SPES Focal Person DOLE Bataan Maria Eloisa Mercado and LEO PESO Bataan Liza Concepcion. GIP is part of KABATAAN 2000 under Executive Order (EO) no. 139 s. 1993 that offers 3-6 months internship opportunities for high school, technical-vocational, or college graduates. The ultimate goal of the said program is to entice the best and the brightest individuals who want to work for the government, especially in the disciplines and subjects relating to labor and employment.
