As a way of treating local folks for Valentine’s Day, the local office of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is holding “Likha ng Bataenos Pre-Valentine Tade Fair” at the WalterMart mall from Feb. 9 to 11.

Ms. Nelin Ocson Cabahug, DTI provincial director of Bataan, said the three-day event will showcase food products of Bataan’s more than 50 food processors and manufacturers. “This is our way celebrating Valentine’s Day with our local folks who may want to taste our local products,” said Cabahug.
Food products on sale at the lobby of WalterMart are cookies, cashew nuts, turmeric powder, peanut butter, wine, “binurong hipon,” atsara, sweets, among others. Also available are household items, hand bags, slippers and t-shirts.

DTI has been holding trade fairs on important holidays and anniversaries in the province to give residents a chance to avail of local products of export quality.
