Proving their dominance in the global hip-hop dance scene, the GBoyz Juniors from the Philippines clinched two championship titles at the World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB) Dubai 2025, held from July 11 to 13. The Filipino crew emerged as champions in both the Junior and Varsity Divisions, besting top-performing dance groups from more than 15 countries across Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East.

On the final day of competition, July 13, the GBoyz Juniors delivered back-to-back electrifying performances that showcased their creativity, precise formations, and powerful stage presence. Their routines captivated both judges and audiences, earning them the top honors in two separate categories—a rare and impressive feat in one of the world’s most competitive street dance festivals. The results were officially confirmed through WSB’s official social media platforms.

World Supremacy Battlegrounds, founded in 2002 and considered one of the longest-running global street dance championships, featured teams competing in divisions such as Junior, Varsity, Monocrew, Open, and Megacrew. The Dubai 2025 edition marked the competition’s first staging in the Middle East and drew elite teams from Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, the United Arab Emirates, and the Philippines. In addition to GBoyz Juniors’ dual victory, the Aklanon crew Choreo’N Cream also took home gold in the Open Division with a score of 88.00.

The GBoyz Juniors’ double victory was widely celebrated by the Filipino dance community and their supporters. Lorena Maestra, one of the crew’s longtime backers, described the achievement as “a national win.” She said, “Winning not just one but two divisions proves that Filipino talent can truly stand out on the world stage. These young dancers are a source of pride for the country.”
