Gov. Joet cautions local folks on firecrackers use

Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia on Wednesday asked local residents to as much as possible avoid using dangerous firecrackers to avoid accident.

He made the appeal during the year-end news briefing with local reporters at a small but secured restaurant along Roman Highway in Balanga City. Garcia said there is a designated area for fireworks display in every municipality or barangay where people can safely celebrate New Year revelry.

The governor said the provincial government has been consistent in providing laptops to teachers and school principals to help in their endeavors to provide educational needs to young generation.

Gov. Joet revealed that more innovations shall be carried out in various public schools to enhance learning process and provide healthy educational environment for the school children.

On infrastructure projects, Garcia said the Provincial Government is always willing to support the Department of Public Works and Highways’ various projects, more so with the establishment of foot bridge or flyover on the Roman Highway’s major intersections to ease the flow of traffic.
