Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia recently extolled retired teachers for their admirable traits and diligence in moulding the character of the youth who are now responsible citizens of the province.
The governor said, “Labis ang aming pagpapahalaga sa ating mga retiradong guro na siyang humubog sa ating mga kabataan,” to members of Bataan Retired Teachers and Employees Association (BARTEA) during its recent assembly held at the auditorium of Bataan National High School. Gov. Garcia added, “Pinagbilin po kayo sa akin ni dating Governor Abet na mahalin kayo na mga kabahagi ng edukasyon sa ating lalawigan.”
This year’s theme is “BARTEA, A Symbol of Happy Family Nurtured with Love and Unity.” There are more or less 1,000 BARTEA members throughout Bataan although some of them have settled in other countries to be with their loved ones.
