Atty. Wilfredo M. Tan, president and chairman of the board of Hausland Group that puts up FIESTA Communities in Central Luzon has recognized the effort of Bataan officials to make the province business friendly.
Tan said it is quite easy for any business entity or locator to deal with provincial and municipal officials in Bataan based on his experience. He said investors deal with local government units with ease leading to belive that the province is indeed business friendly. “Wala nang maraming usap dito sa Bataan,” he added.
Tan was among the signatories to a memorandum of agreement between the Hausland Group, Limay Municipal Government represented by Mayor Nelson David, Bataan Provincial Government represented by Vice Gov. Cris Garcia and Undersecretary Emmanuel Pineda of Department of Human Settlement and Urban Development for the construction of condo-type mass housing project in Limay town.
The project has a total land area of 7,992 square meters in Barangay San Francisco de Asisi I. It can accommodate 508 housing units with 22 and 25 square-meter variants.
The vertical mass housing project is in partnership with DHSUD, Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG Fund), Provincial Government of Bataan and 4PH or the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program of the Marcos administration.
¬¬DHSUD Undersecretary Wilfredo Mallari, former Asec of Department of Public Works and Highways, earlier said that the DHSUD would tap the private sector in the national government’s mass housing project.
