Yesterday, July 6, was the grand opening of Hermosa Dialysis Center Inc. (HDCI), the municipality’s first dialysis center for kidney patients.

It has 15 units of Fresenius Next Generation hemodialysis machines, two of which are in separate isolation rooms, that can cater up to 45 patients per day.

Medical Director Dra. Mildred Tayag explained that HDCI is a result of a vision of establishing a dialysis center closer to the Hermoseños and in providing treatment using holistic approach.

Provincial Government of Bataan Consultant on Health Dr. Bong Galicia stressed the importance of such facility in the Province’s health initiatives, saying that it contributes to Bataan’s mission of prolonging the life expectancy of Bataeños.

Also present in the event was Pusong Pinoy Partylist Rep. Jernie Jett Nisay, who pledged assistance through a subsidy worth P5,000 for each of the first 50 patients of HDCI.

The Hermosa Dialysis Center, Inc. is located along Roman Superhighway at Purok 6 Brgy. Mambog, Hermosa.
