Starting January 3, 2022 the so-called job order employees assigned to the Office of the Vice Governor and the entire provincial board shall receive benefits as if they are regular employees except that their posts are coterminus.
This was disclosed by Bataan Vice Gov. Cris Garcia last Friday (January 28, 2022). She said the 66 JOs will get 13th month pay, bonus, clothing allowance, and other benefits due them.
She said the Sangguniang Panlalawigan approved P10 million funding for their benefits. “Some JOs are sometimes assigned to remote villages of the province as part of their job description and when the need arises more particularly this time of pandemic,” the presiding officer of SP explained. Each board member has four JOs assigned in the office at The Bunker.
