Mariveles is eyeing to build a dialysis center to help families of patients who undergo dialysis in the municipality.
Members of the Sangguniang Bayan Committee on Health and other personnel spearheaded by committee chairman Councilor Ivan Ricafrente recently inspected the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF) situated along MAAP Road, Brgy. Alas-asin, which is proposed to be converted into Mariveles Dialysis Center and Rural Health Unit 5.
Mayor AJ Concepcion who is pushing for the establishment of the center, said they can enter into public-private-partnership scheme to realize the project at the soonest. Vice Mayor Lito Rubia supports the dialysis center project.
Joining the inspection of TTMF were committee on health vice chairperson Councilor Dan Banal, committee member Councilor Susan Murillo, Dr. Gerald Sebastian, Engr. Chastine Yraola, Engr. Nicole Santillan, Maverick Violenta, and SB staff Ervin Marcha.
