Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion led the flag-raising ceremony at Antonio G. Llamas Elementary School on Monday, September 11, 2023, together with the entire Sangguniang Bayan of Mariveles headed by Vice Mayor Lito Rubia, the principals of public schools, teachers and students.

The ceremony also marked the launch of the “Alalay sa Chikiting para sa Matatag na Edukasyon” program, which aims to provide school supplies to Kindergarten and Grade 1 pupils of public schools in the municipality. Mayor Concepcion said that education is very important for the development and success in the future of the children. He added that with the right support, love for learning, and cooperation of teachers, parents, and community, the students can achieve their dreams and contribute to the progress of society.

The “Alalay sa Chikiting Para sa Matatag na Edukasyon” program is part of the mayor’s vision to make Mariveles a center of excellence in education. He said that he will continue to implement projects and programs that will enhance the quality of education and provide opportunities for the students to learn and grow.
