Mariveles Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion on Tuesday led the pilot testing at the Mariveles District Hospital (MDH) for the Health Information System of the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) – Data Center, Inc. (DCI).

Mayor AJ said the project is aimed at modernizing their health services such as having a digital health record in PhilHealth as well as having an electronic referral system that will go from barangay health centers to their rural health units, and hospitals.

MDH Chief of Hospital, Dr. Hector Santos, joined Mayor Concepcion in the pilot testing along with Municipal Health Officer Dr. Gerald Sebastian, Municipal Councilors Ivan Ricafrente, Dan Banal, Vonnel Isip; DCI representatives, and the municipality’s health care professionals who will undergo training for the said system.

“Because of this, it will be faster and easier for us to provide quality health services to our constituents. You can count on us to do many more services, especially for the betterment of the health of every Mariveleño family,” Mayor Concepcion told Mariveles residents on his official Facebook Page.
