Mayor Francis weds 60 couples

Married couples must maintain the dignity of a Filipino family by having a close relationship with each other, children and relatives because it is the foundation of a model community. This was the admonition of Balanga City Mayor Francis Garcia who officiated the ceremonies for Holy Matrimony on Wednesday morning’s Kasalang Bayan”, February 14, being Valentines Day and at the same time, Ash Wednesday held at the Emiliana Hall.

The mayor emphasized the importance of education among the couples who he said should raise their children to become good citizens of the community.

The simple but meaningful mass wedding ceremony was witnessed by members of Ssngguniang Panlungsod, department heads, and barangay captains. The city government may hold another Kasalang Bayan in October, this year.I
