In a heartfelt gesture of gratitude and support, Mayor Antonio Joseph “Jopet” Rivera Inton on Monday spearheaded the turnover ceremony for a newly acquired service vehicle, dedicated to the hardworking teachers of DepEd Hermosa.

The initiative, a collaboration between the local government and the Department of Education, aims to improve the convenience and mobility of educators, ensuring they can carry out their duties more efficiently.

Attendees of the ceremony included District Supervisor Arlene Carlos and Hermosa Elementary School Principal Rosario Canlas, both of whom have been instrumental in upholding the town’s commitment to quality education.

“We believe that by providing this vehicle, we are not only addressing the practical needs of our teachers but also symbolizing our deep appreciation for their unwavering dedication to shaping the minds of our youth,” said Mayor Inton during his speech.

The service vehicle is expected to ease transportation challenges for the teachers, particularly when attending official functions, training sessions, and community outreach activities. Mayor Inton emphasized that this is just one of many steps the local government is taking to further support the educational sector.

As the vehicle keys were handed over, applause filled the air, signifying the collective hope for a brighter future. “Our teachers are the guiding lights of knowledge, and we are committed to giving them the tools and resources they need to succeed,” said Ma’am Canlas.

With this new resource, Hermosa continues to strive for excellence in education, fostering an environment where educators and students alike can thrive. The local government and education department’s collaboration promises to bring more projects aimed at improving the learning experience for the youth of Hermosa.

“Together, we will keep dreaming and working towards a brighter future for our beloved town,” concluded Mayor Inton, as the ceremony closed with renewed enthusiasm for what lies ahead for Hermosa’s education system.
