Governor Albert Garcia led yesterday, January 25, the inauguration of the 76-bed Mariveles District Hospital – Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (MDH-TTMF) located at SFB 13 Hangar in the Freeport Area of Bataan in Mariveles, to accommodate asymptomatic and mild cases of COVID-19.
Said facility is equipped with a movie projector, positivity wall, and inter-faith prayer area. “This will help tremendously in the healing process ng ating mga pasyente dahil magiging komportable po sila, maaliwalas.” -Gov. Albert Garcia said.
A Memorandum of Agreement was signed during the event by representatives of the following agencies, Authority of Freeport Area of Bataan, Philippine Red Cross, Department of Health, Provincial Government of Bataan, and the 2nd Congressinal District of Bataan to ensure the sustained operation of the facility.
Also present during the event were Bataan 2nd District Representative Joet Garcia, DOH-Central Luzon Regional Director Dr. Corazon Flores, Bataan Provincial DOH Officer Dr. Francisco Hermoso, Authority of Freeport Area of Bataan Administrator Engr.
