Digital innovation and transformation require good leadership and full support from the local government units (LGUs), according to one of the key speakers in the National ICT Confederation of the Philippine (NICP) Summit held last Thursday at the Bataan Peoples Center.
Digital transformation more particularly in the countryside faces a measure of challenge due to lack of infrastructure and logistics to keep it going, according to Atty. Jocelle Betapa-Sigue, Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) undersecretary for ICT Industry Development and it takes good leadership to achieve this goal.
