Board Member Benjie Serrano who is helping in the implementation of the program, said benefitting residents already underwent on Thursday verification and orientation at Virginia Hall, Serrano Residence, Brgy. Puksuan, Orani.
He said the beneficiaries will earn P450 wage per day for a period of 10 days (P4,5000) as barangay cleaners.
Serrano expressed gratitude to Sen. Villanueva for the help he is extending to his kababayans in Orani especially those displaced from work.
TUPAD is a community-based package of assistance that provides emergency employment for displaced workers, underemployed, and seasonal workers for a minimum period of 10 days, but not to exceed a maximum of 30 days.
