The City Government of Balanga continues supporting local fishermen. Recently, 18 fishermen expressed their gratitude as they received six new fishing boats from the city government, personally distributed by Mayor Garcia. In addition, 200 solar lamps and 285 gillnets were handed out to other fishermen. A total amount of P2 million was spent for the assistance.

Mayor Garcia and Vice Mayor Venzon-Gozon recognize the significant contribution of the sector to the local economy. “We continue to support our fishermen, ensuring that they have the resources they need to thrive, ” Mayor Garcia said.
