Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Usec. Wilfredo Mallari said the participation of private contractors is vital to the success of President Bongbong Marcos’ Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Housing Program or 4PH. “Kailangan natin ang suporta ng mga private contractors para sa programang pabahay ng gobyerno”, he said.

Recognizing the role of the private sector, DHSUD has already started the promotion of joint venture agreement (JVA) and public-private partnership (PPP) under the ‘Pambansang Pabahay Program’.

DHSUD has been unlocking more partnership opportunities for all stakeholders particularly private contractors and developers.

DHSUD Secretary Jerry Acuzar has been meeting with officials and members of Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA), Organization of Socialized and Economic Housing Developers of the Philippines (OSHDP), National Real Estate Association Inc. (NREA) and the Chamber of Real Estate and Builders’ Association Inc. (CREBA).
