The United Union Oil and Gas, Inc. (UUOGI) and the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) recently signed a memorandum of agreement for the former’s project to put up a multi-million-peso oil refinery and waste-to-energy facility in the Freeport.
The UUOGI, a foreign business entity with expertise in oil micro-refinery industry is capable of producing 24,000 barrels of oil per day with 100mw power plant capacity.
Hazel Keith Tallorin, AFAB information writer, said AFAB Administrator Engr. Emmanuel D. Pineda and UUOGI Chairperson and CEO Bruce Bagheri, recently signed the MOA.
Kelvin G. Rodriguez, head of AFAB business development and marketing specialist, and Mario Dalido, UUOGI secretary, also signed the MOA.
Bagheri thanked the AFAB for the opportunity to provide income and generate employment for Mariveles folks. Pineda, on the other hand, said the UUOGI will provide clean and reliable source of power for the FAB.
