Rep. Roman launches STEP 2024 Program

Bataan 1st District Representative Geraldine Roman has announced anew the opening of applications for the 2024 Special Training for Employment Program (STEP) under the Iskolar ng Unang Distrito ng Bataan initiative.

This program aims to equip residents with valuable skills that can pave the way for better employment opportunities.

The program offers specialized courses in Bread and Pastry Production NC II, Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II, Dressmaking NC II, and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC II. Training sessions will be held from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eligible applicants must be at least 18 years old, a high school graduate, and currently unemployed.

Necessary documents include a high school card (Form 138) or a transcript of records if the applicant is a college graduate, a birth certificate, and a barangay clearance, among others. The application process starts on August 12, 2024, and will close on August 17, 2024. Interested individuals can sign up via the provided Google Form link.

Congresswoman Roman encourages Bataan residents to seize this opportunity to enhance their skills and secure a brighter future. Limited slots are available, so early registration is advised.
