Bataan First District Board Member Tony Roman recently donated a computer and two sets of books to the Samal Municipal Library.

He was warmly welcomed and thanked by Samal Mayor Alex Acuzar during the donation. Roman also said Asia Foundation will provide e-library to the facility.

Prior to the donation, the library had two computer sets available.

Roman has expressed his intention to donate additional computers to the library, which is located near the Samal Municipal Hall.
Roman also recently launched a mobile library project aiming to promote reading among elementary school students.

Together with Board Member Harold Espeleta, they introduced a resolution to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, encouraging municipalities and barangays across the province to establish more municipal libraries and barangay reading centers.
The resolution was unanimously approved.
