Roman pushes for reading initiative through mobile library

Bataan First District Board Member Tony Roman recently launched a mobile library project aimed to promote reading among elementary school students in the province.

The board member provided the mobile library while the e-library is supplied by the Asia Foundation, and DepEd teachers will assist in the project. Roman aptly named it Cool Iskool Mobile Library. He added Aboitiz Foundation also donated 57 computer tablets and more help is coming. The mobile library will visit elementary schools in the province.

Earlier, Roman and Board Member Harold Espeleta introduced a resolution at the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) encouraging municipalities and barangays in the province to set municipal libraries and barangay reading centers. The resolution was unanimously approved during a recent SP regular session, which Roman presided over as the Acting Vice Governor.The post Roman pushes for reading initiative through mobile library appeared first on 1Bataan.
