Secretary Jesus Crispin C. Remulla of the Department of Justice has long been a good friend of Bataan Second District Rep. Albert S. Garcia and Gov. Jose Enrique S. Garcia III.

This surfaced on Wednesday when the DOJ top honcho came as guest of honor during the inauguration of the new office of the Registry of Deeds located at the 3rd floor of The Bunker.

Remulla traced his friendship with Congressman Garcia in 2004 when they were neighbors in the House of Representatives office.

“We used to talk about development and industrialization of our provinces, Cavite and Bataan,” said the Justice Secretary simply addressed “Boying” by friends and close associates.

He described Bataan now as a well-developed province in the region.

“Bataan folks should be proud of their leaders. Dapat itong government center na ganito (Bunker) ang kopyahin ng ibang LGUs,” Remulla said.

Congressman Garcia said with the completion of Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge, friendship with the Remullas, the Cavite folks will be enhanced and development of two super regions and adjacent provinces will be realized soon.
