A total of one thousand (1000) Bataeño beneficiaries from different municipalities and lone city of Bataan received P3,000 financial assistance under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) today, June 1, 2023 at Bataan People’s Center.
Aside from the financial aid, Sen. Bong Go also shared that seven (7) Super Health Centers will be built in the province. The aforementioned centers aim to serve as a bridge between existing rural health units and higher-level health facilities such as hospitals, clinics, dialysis centers, and more. Through this initiative, local communities will have access to diagnostic facilities, laboratories, X-ray and ultrasound services, and others.
The payout was led by Sen. Bong Go, together with Gov. Jose Enrique S. Garcia III, Cong. Gila Garcia, Cong. Geraldine Roman, and the mayors of each municipality in the province at Bataan People’s Center.
Governor Garcia thanked Sen. Bong Go for his consistent support of the Provincial Government’s programs and initiatives, as well as his assistance to every Bataeño family in need.
