Bataan Governor Joet Garcia, together with Hermosa Mayor Anne Inton, former Mayor Jopet Inton and Culis Punong Barangay Manolito Paule, led the inauguration ceremony of the newly improved farm-to-market (FMR) road in Sitio Nazareno, Barangay Culis, Hermosa on July 3, 2025.
Through this FMR road, the transport of agricultural products and harvests to the market has become significantly faster and more efficient. This improvement is expected to result in higher income for farmers, greater livelihood opportunities for Bataeños, and more development projects for the province.
The ₱90 million project was constructed through the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) under the Department of Agriculture (DA), funded by the World Bank, and made possible through the collaboration of the National Government, the Provincial Government of Bataan and the Local Government Unit of Hermosa.
Also present at the inauguration were I-Build Component Head Engr. Elmer Tubig, PSO North Luzon Deputy Project Director Elma Mananes, RTD for Special Concerns Engr. Juanito Dela Cruz, 1st District Chief of Staff Migs Simsuangco, Fr. Jonathan Raven Sison and representatives from the Provincial Government of Bataan and Local Government Unit of Hermosa.
