Suhay scholars make waves

Did you know that the Orani Suhay Foundation, Inc. (OSFI) has been producing professionals that land them gainful jobs here and abroad?

Former Board Member Dr. Godofredo Galicia, Jr., a member of OSFI Board of Trustees, said the foundation is supporting 78 scholars this year who are in 3rd year and 4th year college.

Speaking, during the Foundation’s recent grand homecoming event themed “Fostering Connections: Empowering Communities for a Brighter Future,” Galicia refreshed former scholars with the new developments and congratulated them on their new journey.

The OSFI, founded by the late Engr. David M. Consunji of the legendary DMCI was engaged in microfinancing until it shifted to scholarship program in 2017. “Noong 2017, 16 lang po ang scholars natin,” Galicia reminisced. Most of its benefactors and donors are from DACON Group of Companies. The OSFI’s current chairperson is Lucy A. Consunji.
