Sumi Philippines Wiring System inaugurates new building

Sumi Philippines Wiring System (SPWS), a leading manufacturer of automotive wiring harnesses, has inaugurated its new building for its Wire Cable Division Aluminum Factory at the Hermosa Ecozone Industrial Park on July 4, 2023.

The new building is expected to boost the production capacity and efficiency of SPWS, as well as create more jobs and opportunities for the local community. The Wire Cable Division Aluminum Factory produces aluminum wires that are used for various applications in the automotive industry.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by SPWS President Takeshi Fujimi, WCD Vice President Minoru Kawashima, SWS Managing Executive Officers Osamu Okamoto and Yukimitsu Hattori, Bataan Governor Joet Garcia, Board Member Atty. Tony Boy Roman and PEZA Zone Manager, HEIP Shiela Marie Pidlaoan.

Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton, who also graced the event, expressed his gratitude and support to SPWS for choosing Hermosa as its location. He said that the new building is not only a facility, but also a symbol of the continuous development and growth of Hermosa. He added that it is also a great opportunity for the residents of Hermosa and nearby areas to benefit from the economic activities generated by SPWS. Mayor Inton also reiterated his commitment to work with SPWS and other stakeholders to ensure the sustainability and competitiveness of Hermosa Ecozone Industrial Park. He said that his administration will continue to provide quality services and infrastructure to attract more investors and businesses to Hermosa. Mayor Inton ended his speech by saying that he is proud of the achievements of SPWS and Hermosa, and that he hopes that they will continue to work together under the “Lipad Hermosa” theme in the continuous flight of the town towards progress.
