Allowance of the 6,700 old beneficiaries of the Iskolar ng Bataan (INB) program for the first semester School Year 2021-2022 is due for release this August. The dates will be announced through the official Facebook page of the INB. Currently, they are accepting applicants online.
According to Mr. Cañas, program coordinator, most of the old beneficiaries will receive their allowance through ATM while the others will receive their allowance by way of credit advice. To date, the INB program has a total of 11,300 beneficiaries including the new ones whose ATMs are also still being processed.
Earlier, Vice Gov. Cris Garcia, Iskolar ng Bataan program adviser, pointed out that the pandemic brought numerous challenges, yet the Iskolar ng Bataan program is still here to assist continuously.
She said that if the program needs additional funds, then the Sangguniang Panlalawigan will make way for that, so as to accommodate more students who need help through the program.
The Vice-Governor, who is the original adviser of the INB, puts high premium on education and has been encouraging Bataan youths to take the opportunity to finish college through the program.
