3,000 trees planted in Orion

In line with the celebration of Arbor Day 2025, the Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office – Bataan (PGENRO-Bataan) spearheaded a tree planting activity on June 25 in Brgy. Bilolo, Orion, covering a total area of three hectares.

Over 3,000 native and fruit-bearing trees, including narra, cashew (kasuy), and jackfruit (langka), were planted through the joint efforts of various sectors.

Among the participants were AboitizPower, WRLD Capital Holders Inc., Real Life Sciences, Toyota Bataan, Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity and Sorority, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and BUFAI. Representatives from national and local government agencies—including Orion BFP, PNP, BJMP, Philippine Coast Guard, barangay and municipal officials, and Iskolar ng Bataan beneficiaries who also contributed to the success of the event.

The activity aimed to promote environmental awareness, reforestation, and long-term sustainability efforts in the province.
