Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) is going global what with competent teaching staff and, yes, no other than its president, Dr. Ruby B. Santos-Matibag who together with delegates and ChEd official, graced the 75th NAFSA Annual Conference and Expo.
Held last May 25 to June 3 in San Diego Convention Center, California, U.S.A., had its theme “Purpose, Place and Partnership.” It was attended by 9,500 international education leaders from more than 100 countries.
It provided a rich platform for international engagement, global networking, and strategic academic collaboration.
Matibag actively participated in plenary sessions, high level forum addressing international mobility, global learning innovations and transnational partnership models.
In its FB page, BPSU said the University successfully signed several memoranda of understanding and agreements during the conference, paving the way for collaborative research, faculty exchange, joint academic programs, and student mobility.
Matibag emphasized the need to sustain this momentum through dedicated implementation teams and capacity-building efforts for faculty and staff, ensuring that international partnerships translate into transformative experience for the entire university community.
