Bataan First District Congressman-elect Atty. Tony Roman is working to expand the Cool Iskool Mobile Library project. He expressed gratitude to DepEd Bataan and the education leaders from Abucay, Samal, Orani, and Hermosa who participated in a recent meeting to support the expansion of the project. He pointed out the positive results of the initiative, especially for Grade 3 students.

According to a report from DepEd Bataan, students who benefitted from the Cool Iskool Mobile Library have shown significant improvement in their reading skills, based on the latest results of the Comprehensive Rapid Literacy Assessment. The number of grade-level readers has increased, while the number of emergent readers has decreased.

The Cool Iskool Mobile Library project was launched by Congressman-elect Roman last year as part of his advocacy for accessible and quality education for all learners in the province.(
