Board Member Popoy Del Rosario said DRRM trainings empower youths to be partners in building strong communities. “The youth are not only the hope of the nation, they can also be partners today in building strong and resilient communities.”
He shared this message during the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Preparedness Training for the Youth held on June 7 at the 1Bataan Command Center in Orani. The event, themed “Knowledge and Preparedness: Towards Youth Safety,” aimed to equip young participants with the skills and knowledge needed to respond to emergencies and help build safer communities.
The training was made possible through the joint efforts of the Provincial DRRM Office, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), and Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc.
