It was like an ordinary day for Congresswoman Gila Garcia of Bataan’s 3rd District but the neophyte lady solon does not seem to get tired in the name of duty– for public service.
She just attended on Tuesday five events in a day– three blessing rites for covered courts of Roosevelt National High School, JC Payumo National High School, Magsaysay National High School, and payout events for 150 ecowarriors and 64 for Jose Depiro Formation Center. It was a tiresome day, indeed, but for Congresswoman Gila it was a normal routinary work done during a recess from the House of Representatives.
As Rollie Rojas, the solon’s chief of staff and media coordinator rolled into one, said recess in Congress means “work and more work” in the 3rd District. Congw. Gila’s “omnipresence” in the towns of Dinalupihan, Morong, Bagac and Mariveles gives residents in the 3rd District a firm assurance that they are well-taken care of by the former mayor. Even the media people covering Gila are one in saying that many local officials admire and appreciate the determination of the congresswoman in making her presence felt by her own constituents. The post A hard day’s work for a lady solon? appeared first on 1Bataan.
